***** Yeah, My little Tease WIP took Me a while to finally get around to completely. But, with this one, I was NOT going to cut corners. So last night I finally got the downtime I needed to finish it. I call this piece "Red and Black" and it purely inspired by Issue 663 of Batman. And even if you're NOT a comic reader, go find a comic shop and get THIS ISSUE. It's a stand-alone story, so you don'need to know any recent arc or continuety to follow what's going on. It's just a beautiful and horrifying story. SO good. And so for a while now two, I've been wanting to do another Harley pic. Purely because the last pic I did of her some time ago is the most Fav'd pic in My gallery. And before you think I did this then to try and get More Fav's in the gallery, that's not it. Looking at that other pic, and seeing how people just seem to LOVE it makes Me, as an artist pick it apart more. Y'know, that little critic and asshole inside all of us artists that say, "You can do better. You don'deserve to have THAT be the most Fav'd pic in your gallery." Becaus ein some ways, that can be interprated as the BEST pic in your gallery. And while I'm not going to say I COULD pic a favorite, ONE favorite in My gallery, I always see that Harley pic, and think, "You can do better." And so take those two elements, add them together, add a morbis pinch of a nod to Alex Ross, heh heh, and you get Red and Black. Enjoy. I think the best way to compliment this is to just stare at it for hours on end, trying to figure out how you could pull this off so beautifully . . . no words, just staring . . . *stares*
